Six steps turn one cent into a real donation.
You don't need to understand anything complicated. You give an amount, it shows up on the Wall, and you help decide which children's project it ends up supporting.
STEP 1
One cent = one HUMAN
There are roughly 8.3 billion people on Earth. If everyone gave one cent, that would add up to $83,000,000. Each cent symbolically stands for one HUMAN — but you can give whatever you want, not just a cent.
STEP 2
You join in
Pick one of the suggested amounts or enter your own — it's up to you. That becomes your HUMANS. You give your country, and optionally your name and a message.
STEP 3
You get your spot
Right after your contribution, you get your personal certificate with your Humanity number — and, if you want, a spot on the public Humanity Wall.
STEP 4
Suggest a project
From $10, you can suggest a children's project close to your heart yourself — a school, clean water, medical care, or something else.
STEP 5
Spread your votes across projects
Distribute your vote across the suggested projects. Every vote directly supports the project it's given to — only projects that have been verified are ever paid out.
STEP 6
Post it and spread the word
Share your certificate or your link on social media and tell others about the challenge — the more people join in, the bigger the number gets in the end.
The start is the hard part.
At the start there won't be many projects to choose from yet — only contributors can suggest one. So go ahead and suggest one yourself. And your vote isn't set in stone: you can reassign it to a different project any time — until payouts happen.
