About the Campaign
THE HUMANITY BET is a social experiment, not a registered charity, gambling, or a bet in the legal sense — "Bet" is meant as a symbolic title for the experiment, not a stake with a chance of winning. There is no partnership with UNICEF or any other named organization unless explicitly and verifiably confirmed here. Contributions are processed as real payments via the payment providers Stripe and PayPal.
EU Dispute Resolution
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR), available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Our email address can be found above in this legal notice. We are neither obligated nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
Liability for Content
As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these pages under general law pursuant to Sec. 7(1) DDG. However, under Secs. 8 to 10 DDG, we are not obligated as a service provider to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information, or to investigate circumstances indicating unlawful activity.
